New room is missing in the booking plan

I created a new room, but it does not appear in the booking plan. What could be the reason?
The room likely has no beds, which is why it doesn’t appear in the booking plan. Check this as follows:

Go to Settings/Rooms
Select the room in question

Make sure that either:
a room category with beds is assigned, or
for a room without a category, the number of beds is entered at the bottom

After this, the room should appear in the booking plan.
