Address and phone number missing in web bookings

Sometimes only the guest’s name is recorded in web bookings, even though email, address, and phone number are required. Why does this happen?

A web booking is not fully recorded in the system – what can I do?
This behavior is related to the “Name of arriving guest” option in the web booking settings.

When this option is enabled, a different person can be specified as the arriving guest than the person making the booking. This is often used for corporate bookings, for example, when an assistant books for employees.

In this case, the required fields (email, address, phone number) are stored under “booked by”. You can view this information in the booking if you enable “booked by” in Settings/Booking.

If you mostly have private guests or very few corporate bookings, it is recommended to disable the “Name of arriving guest” option. This ensures that all required fields are recorded directly for the arriving guest.

To disable the option:

Go to Settings/Web Booking
Set “Name of arriving guest” to disabled

This will ensure that email, address, and phone number are correctly captured for the arriving guest.
